Checklist: What to Include

Author Details

Including the names of authors in an article is a crucial way to acknowledge those who have made substantial contributions to the project. It also guarantees accountability for those in charge of maintaining the quality of the content. So every author of a manuscript must provide their complete name and affiliation on the manuscript's cover page. The journal editor will not determine the order of authors and is unable to resolve authorship disagreements. In cases of unresolved disagreements among the authors, the institution(s) where the work occurred will be requested to look into the matter. If there are multiple authors, kindly specify the corresponding author, with their email address typically shown in the article PDF and the online version.

Affiliations

Authors’ affiliations refer to the institutions where the research took place. If any of the co-authors listed changes their affiliation during the peer-review process, the new affiliation may be provided as a footnote. Be aware that once your paper is accepted, no alterations to affiliation can occur.

  • For articles that aren't research-based, you are required to provide your present institutional affiliation.
  • If you changed institutions before the article's publication, you should indicate the affiliation where the work took place and add a note mentioning your current affiliation.
  • If you currently lack a relevant institutional affiliation, you should indicate your independent status.

CRediT Roles

This journal gathers CRediT (Contributors Rules Taxonomy) roles during the submission process and features them in published articles when provided by the authors. You might need to supply CRediT roles (information about contributors) for both you and your co-authors.

Maps, Figures & Tables

Maps, figures and tables must be inserted within the text. These ought to provide fresh insights instead of repeating content from the text. Readers ought to interpret the figures and tables without needing to refer to the text. Kindly provide editable documents.

Equations. If you are submitting your manuscript as a Word document, please ensure that equations are editable.
