Rajshahi University Journal of Social Science and Business Studies is an official journal of the University of Rajshahi. It publishes research works of original nature in Social Sciences and Business Studies, by the teachers and researchers of the faculties/institutes concerned as well as those from outside of the University.
The next issue of the journal is expected to be published by January, 2026. Last date for submission of manuscript is 1 December, 2025. Papers can be submitted after that date as well to be considered for subsequent issues

As the journal seeks to promote interdisciplinary research on diverse aspects of society, politics, economy, business, and development across the disciplines of social science and business studies, this issue presents a variety of submissions by distinguished contributors. The papers included in this volume addressing contemporary topics such as exploring the socio-ecological vulnerability and livelihood insecurities of the riverbank erosion-affected charland displaced people; effect of environmental accounting and reporting on financial performance; career aspirations, motivation, and perceived barriers of female students; firm traits, evidence of corporate governance and tax avoidance in listed banks of Bangladesh; socioeconomic condition of street beggars in Chattogram city; accounting information and stock market price of banking companies; macroeconomic and firm-specific determinants of stock price volatility before and after COVID-19; contingent valuation of groundwater recharge services of Chalan beel; and, CEOs’ human and social capital and firm performance in the banking industry.
Call for Papers
Contributions are hereby invited from faculty members, researchers and scholars from Social Science and Business Studies (including related institutes) of Rajshahi University as well as those from outside Rajshahi University for the forthcoming issue(s) of the Rajshahi University Journal of Social Science and Business Studies. The next issue of the journal is expected to be published by January, 2026. Last date for submission of manuscript is 1 December, 2025. Papers can be submitted after that date as well to be considered for subsequent issues.
Manuscripts should be original in nature, have not been published or accepted, nor under consideration for publication in any other journal. All submissions are subject to plagiarism check, peer review and edition (If required). Details on manuscript format and style can be seen here [Guidelines for Authors] . Contributions should be submitted in triplicate with a soft copy and a covering letter addressing the Editor-in-Chief, Rajshahi University Journal of Social Science and Business Studies, Publications Office, 313 Administration Building-2, University of Rajshahi.
